Holy Disruptions: Engaging Students in Theological Reflection

Leaders will be introduced to CYMTs Holy Disruptions method for youth ministry. They will briefly engage in the processes and be given a taste for what this paradigm looks like and what resources CYMT offers to help youth ministries engage in theological reflection with students. We aim for attendees to leave with insight into another tool that could be their tool belt for faith formation with teenagers.

Workshop leader: Andrew Mochrie, Theology Together Director, The Center for Youth Ministry Training

How will it help you be BOLD? Holy Disruptions seeks to engage students in theological reflection born out of real life experiences in order to equip both students and youth workers not only with the theological tools but the reflective skill set to help them better navigate life and all of its disruptions through a more robust theological lens. This workshops help youth ministries equip students with the tools to be able to persevere as the scriptures says and helps them to explore who they are through a theological reflection process.
