Rev. Jeff Campbell

Servant leader, speaker, and teacher of Intentional Discipleship Systems and Community Engagement, the Reverend Jeff Campbell is General Secretary / Chief Executive Officer of Discipleship Ministries, an international agency of The United Methodist Church with more than 100 staff.

Rev. Campbell has been instrumental in the creation of resources supporting the See All the People initiative which invites leaders to stop trying to fix their church and start seeing the people that God calls us to reach. Jeff teaches Intentional Discipleship Systems and Community Engagement in seminaries, annual conferences, districts, and local churches, challenging United Methodist leaders to make the mission of making disciples and transforming communities the center of all that we do. This teaching equips church leaders to discover or re-discover their “Why” for being disciples and making disciples, understanding how the ministries of their church should function as a system to accomplish the mission of the church.

Prior to serving at Discipleship Ministries, Rev. Campbell served as pastor of The United Methodist Church in Wayne, and Wharton United Community Church at St. John’s. Jeff received his undergraduate degree in English, Linguistics, and Speech from the University of Mary Washington and earned his Master of Divinity from Drew Theological School where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the Alton Raynor Prize for Town & Country Ministry. Jeff lives in Nolensville, Tennessee with his wife and three children and participates in the life and ministries of Nolensville First United Methodist Church.
