The United Methodist Church will be present at the World Methodist Conference in 2024. This is a global gathering of the Methodist-Wesleyan family held every five years in a different part of the world. The 22nd World Methodist Conference will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden from August 13-18, 2024.

The theme for the 2024 World Methodist Conference is “On the Move” and will provide opportunities to worship, learn, pray, and build relationships with an international group connected with the Methodist Movement. There are also special opportunities for young people to both attend and connect during the conference itself. In support of young people being able to attend, the conference is offering scholarships of $1,000 to offset the cost of lodging at the event for young people between the ages of 18-35.
