Young Adults: Be a Part of Journey to the Table #1

By John Hodges-Batzka

JOURNEY TO THE TABLE is a new program ministry of The Upper Room specifically designed for young adults, ages 18 – 35 years old. It allows participants to explore faith through authentic teaching and it fosters open discussion through which participants can build relationships with a community of peers. Journey to the Table seeks to inspire and equip individuals to create spaces of Christian action in their homes, schools, places of work, and communities.

As part of launching this exciting new ministry, Journey to the Table has opened registration for 36 participants at its first event, July 8th through 10th, at the Upper Room Headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee. Participants will be men and women, 18 to 35 years old from the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

As a participant, you will hear a series of ten talks about topics of identity, how we see God in our daily lives, how we live into the example of Christ, and some tools to help with your own Christian spiritual journey. Together with 36 participants and 17 team members from across the U.S. and Puerto Rico you will share worship times including Communion, music, fellowship, times of self-care, and many small group conversations with peers about how each topic relates to you. If you are interested in being a part of this new ministry for young adults, you can Register here, or learn more about Journey to the Table at the Upper Room.
